Marnie's popular classes were a great success at Kitsilano Community for 8 Wonderful Years. With a history of 3 a.m. line up's, 9 second on-line registration sell out's and mile long wait lists ~ all so that a group of bright eyed and beautiful children could enjoy Moving and Grooving to Marnie's Funky Tunes. Marnie would like to thank the many wonderful families who have been a part of the FUN and the success and she is looking forward to seeing them at shows and events. Music for Infants 3-10 months

This is a fun, educational and entertaining class where you will learn a variety of songs chants and nursery rhymes to share with your little one.  The songs provided can help assist with routines such as diapering, car rides and naptime.  The songs can also help in the enhancement of children’s number concepts, language development, strength and coordination, body awareness and most importantly will foster the love between a parent/caregiver and child.  Cost includes Music with Marnie Song Book, which contains over 80 songs, chants and nursery rhymes.

Music and movement for babies crawling-18 month

Come and explore music with your baby through songs, chants, fingerplays, movements and instruments.  A fun class like this can help to develop early music appreciation and a simple understanding of rhythm and beat.  Guaranteed hand clapping, foot stamping and knee bouncing fun for you and your little one.

Music and movement for toddlers 18 months - 3 years

A fun, educational and creative class to explore with your child.  This class will involve singing simple songs, nursery rhymes, and action songs.  The focus of the class is on movement (gross motor, fine motor and dance) beat work (rhythm instruments, hand clapping, thigh slapping, and foot stamping) and most importantly FUN (puppets, bubbles and entertainment galore).  Your child is guaranteed to move and groove and have fun while learning the basics of music.

Musical Preschoolers (3years-5years)

This class is similar to the Music and Movement for Toddlers but is a bit more advanced for the everchanging preschooler. Children will have fun singing and doing lots of simple and entertaining rhythm and beat and music and movement activities. Parent/caregiver participation required. 

NEW!! Music with Marnie Family Sing Along (6mons-5years)

This is the perfect class for a family with 2 children of different ages and is a great opportunity for older and younger children to share musical experiences together in a positive fun and entertaining environment. Older children will have the care of their parent and Marnie but will also have the opportunity to express independence and creativity. Younger children will enjoy the music, animation and stimulation of the class and will receive benefit from observing the older role models.
Parent or Caregiver required 2 children per family max.

Through the use of a variety of instruments and fun and attractive puppets and props Marnie will have the pleasure of keeping your child entertained throughout the entire class.
