Marnie
Grey is excited to announce that she has partnered up with
the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre and produced a brand new full
length Planetarium musical production just for kids entitled
Music with Marnie: Mumbu on the Moon.
With the help of a wishing star
and a magical hot air balloon, Marnie and her hungry monkey
friend Mumbu blast off on an exciting, magical musical adventure
you will never forget. With help from Marnie and the Music
with Marnie Band, everyone in the Planetarium is encouraged
to sing, dance, jump and groove their way through the Solar
System as Mumbu is constantly looking for something else to
eat and a new place to explore.
This high-energy, interactive
production features songs from Marnie’s popular CD “Peace
and Puddles” as well as three new original songs written just
for the show. This multimedia presentation also includes full-dome
Planetarium imagery, state-of-the-art computer graphics, a
revolutionary 360 degree sound system and a live host to interact
with the audience to make this a truly unique experience for
kids and parents alike.
Premiere: Opened
to a SOLD OUT crowd on July 1st, 2004.
Shows: Saturdays,
Sundays, School Holidays at 12:00 Noon and by appointment.
